A total of 500 voters turned out to pass the 2008-2009 school budget by a margin of 327-154.
It was noted that almost 200 more voters went to the polls for the budget than exercised their franchise in the recent capital project vote.
Three school board seats were open with only one declared candidate running, incumbent Howard Van Skiver, who was re-elected with 348 votes.
Write-in candidates Don Johnson, Jr and Lee Holman received 113 and 111 votes, respectively and will assume the other open seats on the board.
The remaining write-in candidate, Matt Conner, drew 40 votes.
