Voters in the Newfield Central Schools district passed the school budget by a margin of 186 to 45.
Voters also gave the district permission to spend up to $200,000 to purchase two new school busses. The margin was 178 to 46.
An increase in the levy collected by the school district for the Newfield Public Library was also approved by 154 to 66. The household contribution to the library will rise from $15 to $24 per year.
Finally, incumbents David Teeter and George Wiltsie will re-elected to their positions with 193 and 167 votes, respectively. Write-in candidates Holly Morais and David Hine received 2 votes and 1 vote, respectively.
